Activity summary
Maasai Girl Education Project Tour Description
I’ve always had a passion for supporting Maasai girls in getting a better education. Unfortunately, many of these girls face challenges due to poverty, illiteracy, traditions, and customs. My mother, who inspired me to focus on educating girls, overcame obstacles to build two schools in Maasai Land with her own resources.
However, due to limited funds, we can only support a few girls compared to the number in need. With the encouragement of my community and environmental supporters, I strive to make a difference by providing Maasai girls with quality education through initiatives like Naramatu Cultural Tours.
I therefore invite compassionate tourists to join us in supporting Maasai girls’ education to secure a brighter future and protect them from harmful practices like Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
You can choose to support the project in three ways:
- Sponsor a girl
- Donate to the project structures, furniture, tools & equipment and scholastic materials
- Support events that educate the community on the importance of girls’ education and the challenges they face can create long-term change
Your support will not only empower individual girls but also contribute to the transformation of entire communities.
Remember that: Education is the key to combating early marriage, teenage pregnancy, poor nutrition, and hygiene among Maasai girls, ensuring a better tomorrow for all.
My Motto: “Charity begins at home”
