Day One Maasai Village Experience

  • See the wilderness area and Savannah landscapes.
  • Observe beautiful views of the East African Rift valley landscape.
  • A visit to the real Maasai village outside tourist crowds.
  • Dress like a Maasai, Sings with Maasai.
  • Overnight stay at Mama Easther homestay.

We will pick you at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), Arusha Airport or at Arusha town from your hotel/lodge and drive you to Monduli town. You will jointly share cultural experiences with Maasai people who are the leading society in East Africa. You will also have an opportunity to virtually see and participate in performing singing and dancing. As well as Learning and taking part in the Maasai way of life such as livestock keeping, cattle herding, milking cows and goats, water fetching with donkeys and participating in their traditional dance. We will also make time for a Q&A where you are free to ask your most burning questions to the tribe leaders. Afterwards, we stop for a delicious warm African lunch prepared by our lovely local mama’s. Our next stop will be at Monduli town at Mama Esther’s  homestay where you will be welcomed by a typical Maasai woman who is involved in various projects to support her community.  Dinner will be served followed by storytelling about Maasai lifestyle. A day well spent!

Day Two Tarangire National Park Day Trip

  •  Enjoy 4 x 4 Game drive at Tarangire National Park.
  • Spot some animals like giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, elephants.
  • Enjoy your dinner at a local hostel at Makuyuni.

Monduli district is surrounded by many national parks, Tarangire National Park being one of them. You start early in the morning to embark on your tour to Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Tarangire is well known for its large wildlife population comprising elephants, eland, giraffes, lions, buffalo, cheetahs, leopards and zebras which are easily spotted. After spotting and observing wildlife in Tarangire National Park, you will continue your journey to  Makuyuni Township where we will have a night’s stay.

Day Three Makuyuni Education Project

  • Spot animals like zebras, antelopes, giraffes
  • Visit a school and play with children at Makuyuni Valley
  • Donate things like, sanitary pads or pencils, and books to our school.
  • Enjoy local lunch with the school children.

After breakfast you will be able to walk toward Makuyuni valley pre and primary school. On your walk to Makuyuni Valley Primary, you will be able to spot some animals like impalas, zebras ,Giraffe,eland and Thomson gazelles. We will appreciate your interaction with pupils at the school. Makuyuni Valley Primary School is a private primary school  where some of the children are privately being sponsored by good Samaritans, sponsored children are coming from disadvantaged families. You will have ample time to  play with the school children and share  lunch with them and if you’re touched with marginalize situation you can offer to sponsor any of them.
